Mamed and Natalya are professional composers and musicians who produce and perform on the stage and TV in Kazakhstan. Their musical creativity and depth of technical knowledge exhibits in the range of their compositions. Find out more about who they are.
The following two YouTube embedded videos display their work as puppet masters for the adult audience. The first video displays the puppets and how they are manipulated and the second is a recording of a live performance in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The themes of their performance are deep and meaningful insights into the human condition in a manner easily accessible to the audience. Although the puppets are the main characters, the puppeteers are integrated into the storyline. This creates a feeling of intimacy with the audience. We feel this atmosphere lends itself quite well to the presentations in the TOVP. As the majority of viewers of exhibitions will be local, the Bengali audience will appreciate the human interaction and live nature of the performance as this is compatible with their spiritual culture. These presentations can also be recorded.
If the puppeteers are dressed in green in front of a green screen, the entire background can be replaced. One can also insert living people to interact with the puppets and puppeteers using multiple video overlays. One can express dozens of different philosophical concepts as well as depict stories from the scripture in an easy manner. Because the exhibits derived from this media are active, they can be changed, updated, and expanded at will, thus keeping the exhibits fresh and relevant to the audience. The expense related to this performance is mainly the creation of puppets and the maintenance of the puppet masters, along with the inclusion of the founders and producers as part of the Mayapur exhibits.
The following presentation is recorded live in front of an audience in Almaty. Due to the low light in the theater, required for the presentation, the video is not as clear as it could be under other circumstances. With the inclusion of green screen or other adaptations, this limitation can be removed. Although this is a long show, due to its elaborate and intricate plot, one can fast forward to see the scene changes and understand the impact of the presentation.
